Please note that all Dangerous Goods Training is currently being conducted online. All examinations must be taken at an approved centre.
If your ADR Vocational Certificate expired between 1st March 2020 and 1st February 2021 you have until 28th February to re-qualify on one of our refresher courses. After this date if you wish to continue to transport Dangerous Goods by Road you will have to re-take the initial qualification.
Moving Dangerous Goods is governed by National and International law and is strictly policed. Our Dangerous Goods courses have been designed to ensure that candidates are qualified in line with the requirements contained in the relevant legislation for the mode of transport. Whether Road, Rail, Air or Sea, we have a range of training courses that will assist you in gaining the necessary qualification(s).
Training is not only limited to Drivers., there is also a legal requirement that many other staff involved in the supply chain (Shippers and Operators) should undergo Dangerous Goods training and certification commensurate with their responsibilities. Our training will make you aware of the various hazards in the identification, packaging, marking and labelling, documentation handling and, storage and loading as well as security when consigning or accepting Dangerous Goods for transport.
On passing Dangerous Goods exams candidates will be issued a Training Certificate allowing them to carry out the duties specified for the classes and modes they have passed; course lengths vary depending on which Certificate you wish to gain.
All certificates for road are valid for five years and must be renewed by attendance at refresher training and exam for drivers and sitting the exams for DGSA. Air and Sea certificates are valid for 24 months (2 years) and must be renewed before the date of expiry.
The courses below have been designed to provide the most common types of dangerous goods driver training, if you have different requirements or need further advice please contact us.
